Denning Brooksworth

Marshal Denning Brooksworth is an old friend and comrade of Lord Cormac Kaspen. He is also good friends with fellow councilors Chancellor Arion Trest and Steward Vossel Swain. Marshal Denning and his wife do not have children of their own, although they did raise her only brother's daughter after his death in battle, and have adopted an orphan boy now that she is grown with children of her own.

As the head of Kaspen's navy and armed forces, Marshal Denning is typically seen in his dress armour. Were it not for this fact, few would recognize him as a former soldier himself; Denning is short and wiry, with a thin nose and weak chin. His receding salt-and-pepper hair is wavy, and he wears a neatly trimmed mustache.

Marshal Denning has served at Lord Cormac's side since the war with Hendrysson, and supported him when he decided to marry the commoner Maraflora. The two have been close friends ever since, and Denning was named first Marshal of Kaspen although he was only of middling birth.
